JYJ @ Hammerstein Ballroom NYC (Nov. 12, 2010)

They had two emcee’s to introduce the band and that’s when you knew this concert was going to be more variety show than music concert.  Which makes sense, because JYJ doesn’t really have a whole lot of music to perform at this time.  There was dancing, singing and a cute Q&A session where Park Yoochun showed off some tattoos.

Photographers were allowed the first three songs up front in the photo pit.  We had to share space with some videographers and a bunch of press folk who should have been shoved into a balcony seat instead of sucking up the pit space.  Afterwards we were moved to these holding spaces.  After 5 minutes I determined it was stupid to just stand in the holding space, where I couldn’t get a clear shot, and snuck up to the mezzanine to shoot.  I missed being able to stand in a deluge of confetti at the end of the show.  No encore.  No booze.  But the stage lighting was good.
