A very packed Starland Ballroom with five metal bands? Pretty awesome and waves of crowdsurfing! The photos are in band order – The Amity Affliction, I See Stars, Motionless in White, Trivium, and Asking Alexandria.

Shot this at 3200ISO with the Canon 5DMIII + 24-105F4.

Head Kandi offers unique/custom cyber falls made mostly from cyber lox, rex lace and foam. They look really spectacular on the dance floor and you don’t need much to put them in (attach with stretchy ties and bobby pins). I grabbed a silver/brown color combo awhile back for some gothic lolita/steampunk looks and it makes the outfits even more surreal. Love em!

L’arc~en~Ciel @ MSG NYC (5D Mark III/blackberry)

I was supposed to road test the Canon 5D Mark III at the L’arc~en~Ciel show at MSG last night, but ran into a miscommunication wall regarding my photo pass. There’s nothing more enjoyable than lugging 15 lbs of gear around for a few hours and then being told 5 minutes before the show that the management decided to not allow photography. I found out later this was a flat out lie, because photographers were escorted in and out for 1st three songs. Of course I had my email confirmation, called the publicist, the tour manager and still couldn’t get in to photograph the show. I eventually hiked up to my seat after stowing my gear and tested out the power of my Blackberry 9700 camera instead.
